Amazon EKS Anywhere is an deployment option for Amazon EKS, which provides an installable package for creating and operating Kubernetes clusters locally, as well as automation tools for lifecycle management.

Using Amazon EKS Anywhere, MnO can run, deploy and manage parallel wireless Open RAN solutions, including distributed and centralized unit workloads on existing commercial hardware platforms.

This approach provides flexibility for mobile operators to choose the best solution for deploying next-generation wireless networks.

Parallel Wireless CEO Steve Papa commented: "This collaboration accelerates Open RAN innovation by allowing us to share our real 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G deployment experience with AWS and leverages R&D results that can be deployed across multiple topology . The integration of Amazon EKS Anywhere and AWS scale will help us better address the diverse network architecture needs of mobile network operators and help accelerate the adoption of the open RAN market."

As part of the collaboration, the two companies will also collaborate to innovate new solutions to further enhance the advantages of Open RAN technology.
