Google has already announced that with the release of iOS 16, a series of new lock screen widgets will be introduced on the iPhone. One of the most noteworthy improvements in the iOS 16 update on the user interface is the lock screen. The interfaces of many of Google's main applications on this lock screen will also be upgraded in the near future.

Although developers have updated the lock screen Widgets since today, many apps under Google still need to wait for "a few weeks". Gmail Lock Screen Widgets includes several different displays that contain clean, important updates such as pulling information from your inbox. One is circular, simply indicating the number of new/unread messages in the inbox, while the other view is a bar that displays detailed counts of specific sections such as unread messages, promotions, social, unread Google Chat Message, or a simple column of new messages for dates and quantities.

For Google Maps, the Widgets can automatically display the estimated arrival time of the place it thinks you need to go, including public transport details and location reminders. It also has the option of clicking shortcuts that show you nearby restaurants, shopping malls, coffee shops, and hotels.

Google Search also has a one-click Widgets button, which can open the search box, prepare your phone to search with the camera, perform voice search, or directly open Google Translation , Google Shopping and Google Scholar and other tools.

Other widgets under development include several widgets for Google Chrome to open a browser, go to a voice search, go directly to the Invisibility Tab or open a dinosaur game.

Google Drive Widgets allows you to access starred folders with one click and notify you when you share folders or documents with you, while Google News has a Widgets that competes with Apple's own News app, promising you to preview titles and story.
