To promote more companies to use Windows 11, Microsoft highlights the old and new advantages of the operating system, including the latest security enhancements present in the Windows 11 2022 update, Windows Autopatch, insights in Endpoint Manager, App Assure, targeted organizational information and accessibility enhancements.
Microsoft is also working on a solution to integrate Microsoft store with Intune. This will provide IT administrators with more control over application deployment and updates, aiming to provide a better experience than Microsoft Store for Business. More details around this area will be shared on Ignite later this year.
Microsoft is also strengthening universal printing solutions for Azure virtual desktop customers. This month, they will receive downloadable reports, live dashboards and support for Excel on the web.
Another area that has been improved in the Windows 11 2022 update is Virtual Team Meetings, which will get a set of new features called Windows Studio Effects to help make video and audio calls more perfect, with effects including: voice focus, helping to filter background noise; automatic viewing, the camera will framing and following.

Microsoft stressed that Forrester results show that Windows 11 has increased user productivity by 5-15%, so companies should consider upgrading to the operating system now, rather than waiting and updating to Windows 10's 22H2 version - which will be launched later this year.
