The busy farming season has passed. As the Chinese New Year approaches, people in the village kill pigs every now and then to treat guests to dinner.
Yesterday, the village fellows invited everyone to eat pig-killing rice . We all had a great time together, but too much joy can easily lead to sadness. The hostess who invited us today was a little drunk. She sang and danced at home with her in-laws and the men and women who came to visit.
While everyone was having fun, a dramatic scene occurred. Perhaps because the tight pants she was wearing could not bear her weight, the jeans burst from behind, causing everyone to burst into laughter. She laughed, and then she used the strength of her wine to say, "You can't take it away even if you see it." She laughed and joked along with the others' laughter, and was scolded by her husband with a sullen face. The matter was supposed to be over by the time we got back, but two hours later they started fighting again.
I originally thought it was just a simple quarrel, but I didn’t expect that the man knocked out all the woman’s teeth. Her daughter and son-in-law had already sent her to the hospital.
