The Wizards , Kuzma and Porzingis scored 7 points in a row to tie. Durant fired with a central bank shot and scored 16 points in a single quarter. But Bill , Kuzma and Porzingis responded continuously, and the Wizards fell behind only 1 point 28-29 in the first quarter.

Irving, Durant and Harris each scored one goal in the third quarter, and the Nets led by 8 points. Porzingis, Avdia , Kispert and others scored one after another, and the Wizards once took the lead. O'Neal and Durant each played 2+1, and then Durant scored 5 points in a row, but Bill made a buzzer-beating jump shot. The Wizards fell behind 77-80 after three quarters.

Kuzma and Porzingis broke through and ran free throws, but Durant scored 6 points in a row to respond, Harris and Irving added two more three-pointers, and the Nets led by 11 points in the last 2 minutes. Bill made all three free throws, Kuzma made a throw, and then Kispert made a three-pointer. In the last 40 seconds, the Wizards chased to 102-107. Irving made both free throws, and the Wizards were powerless to win the day.
Durant made 13 of 20 shots and scored 39 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists, Irving scored 27 points, 5 assists and 2 blocks, Harris scored 14 points, and O'Neal scored 8 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists.
Porzingis scored 27 points, 19 rebounds and 2 blocks, Bill scored 25 points, 6 assists and 5 turnovers, and Kuzma scored 25 points.
