The temperature is low in winter, and only the cold-resistant crucian carp is still insisting on eating, and the bigger the crucian carp, the more it will not stop. Being able to fish for larger crucian carp is the greatest fun in wild fishing in winter. Low temperatures can cause the body of crucian carp to be stiff and eat less, which is what we often call a light mouth phenomenon. Therefore, winter fishing is destined to have a relatively small float phase, and choosing a suitable float will help enlarge the float phase. A reasonable method of drift adjustment can ensure that when the drift is mild, there is also a very high rate of hitting fish.
1. Eat lead
There are several major misunderstandings in wild fishing in winter, and the choice of float is one of them. From the perspective of floats alone, the smaller the lead, the higher the sensitivity. However, the sensitivity of the float itself cannot represent the sensitivity of the entire fishing gear. On the contrary, when the float eats lead too small, it will be more difficult to throw the rod. Not being able to accurately throw the rod is a taboo in winter fishing. We all know that Seven Star Floor is not suitable for fishing for deep water. The reason is that the seven Star Floor is very small in "eating lead". When fishing for deep water, the water line is loose, and the float phase transmitted is half a beat slow, and the lifting rod often fails to catch the fish. This problem also exists for vertical floats, so you should eat moderate lead when choosing a float. On the basis of ensuring accurate casting of rods, the smaller the better.
Float length and stability will also be different. The longer the float, the better the stability and the more realistic the fish mouth, which means that the long float is relatively blunt. According to the fish situation in winter, it is recommended to choose a short-branched float, so that the transmission of the float phase will be more timely. It is best to be a slender float, which has a smaller cross-sectional area and will have smaller upward and downward resistance in water. The float tail should be appropriate. A thin float tail can enlarge the float phase, but it should be chosen based on your personal vision. Some anglers still like to use blunt soft-tail floats in winter. The float has a lighter float and often only has a black twitch, which has extremely high requirements for viewing the float, but the fish catch rate is not low.
2. Fishing eyes are small
No matter how you adjust the float, you should pay attention to the lighter mouth in winter and the float movement is relatively small. The final fishing eyes are recommended to fish for a lower number of mesh. This actually has nothing to do with being dull, and it is simply considered from the perspective of looking at the float. For example, if you fish for 10 eyes, compared with 2 eyes, when the float is only half an eye, it is naturally easier to catch the opportunity to lift the rod when fishing for 2 eyes. We all know that measuring dullness is not just about looking at the fishing target or adjusting the purpose, but about the effect of the hook bait and sub-line underwater. If the state is the same, there will be a slight difference in dullness, but it can basically be ignored. The same tuning and fishing eyes will also be very different due to the different weights of the fish hook and bait.

3. The difference between adjusting the eye and fishing is small
. Whether the floating is adjusted in winter is a big misunderstanding. Many fishermen think that the fish mouth is light in winter and should be more effective in fishing, so that the float will be more obvious, which is obviously wrong. It is precisely because the fish mouth is light in winter that it cannot be fished for. Only when fishing for dull hooks and baits are more likely to be sucked into the mouth by crucian carp, so blunt fishing is the norm for winter fishing. If crucian carp cannot be baited easily, it will naturally be impossible to catch fish. When fishing for dullness, it means that the fishing eye is larger than the adjustment eye, but the larger one depends on the weight of the hook. Fishing Eye = Adjustment Eye + Double Hook Weight. If the fishing Eye is greater than the Adjustment Eye + Double Hook Weight, then lead sinker begins to bottom out. This is the formula for adjusting float without hooks. The hooks for winter fishing are relatively small and light, so the fishing eye cannot be much higher than the adjusting eye, otherwise the lead sinker will bottom out. Therefore, you must fish for blunt, the hook is relatively light, and the float has a thin tail. Adjust N to catch N+1, which is more suitable for fishing in winter.
fish mouth lightly grabs the small float phase, especially the small mouth and shaking, which are effective float phases with extremely high-quality fish rates. It is not common to catch crucian carp in winter when top floats. Compared with exaggerated floats, the rate of fishing is not high.
