Carenho played at the Atlante Club in Mexico when he participated in the 1930 World Cup. He previously represented the Mexican Olympics in 1928 Amsterdam Olympics football match. In the first round, he lost to the Spanish Olympics 1:7, and he also scored the only goal for the Mexican Olympics.
