and vice president of the University Zhang Ronghua presented Su Bingtian with the appointment letter of "Youth Growth Mentor" for the ideological and political team of the University Sports College

Zhang Ronghua said that the Jida Sports Lecture Hall aims to promote the spirit of Chinese sports with the positive energy of sports stars and enhance the confidence in sports culture. This event specially invited Professor Su Bingtian to share every detail of his growth with Ji University. In the future, the school will invite more sports stars loved by teachers and students to come to the campus, promote the positive energy of sports, and create a sports cultural atmosphere of self-improvement and hard work and progress in Jinan Park.

Jinan Sports Lecture Hall held a lecture in the form of questions and answers, and Su Bingtian communicated with the host and students on multiple topics related to the topic. Su Bingtian shared the story behind his amazing result from breaking through the 10-second mark in 2015 to running 9.83 seconds at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. "All success cannot be separated from sufficient preparation," Su Bingtian said that relying on increasingly scientific training concepts and means, training is more efficient, so that he can reach a new level.

In addition, Su Bingtian emphasized that technology requires thickness. When he runs into 10 seconds and has a certain thickness, his confidence is doubled and he is determined to seize the opportunity of the Olympics. During the training, he changed his coach, overcame multiple back injuries, re-learned the improved running skills, and walked out of his comfort zone.

"If you want to make progress and you want to make breakthroughs, you must accept updated things at any time and turn your weaknesses into advantages." Su Bingtian believes that track and field events are about speaking with strength. Only by constantly accumulating abilities and making yourself excellent enough can you stand on the stage of dialogue with others.

Speaking of future plans, Su Bingtian said that he would not meet the status quo, but would pursue higher goals while maintaining his high level of competitive level and state. He will prepare seriously for the Hangzhou Asian Games "at the doorstep" in 2023. "The 'sweetness' that makes me persist is more about not giving up and not giving up. Of course, not everyone will succeed, but you will be handsome if you persist."

During the interactive communication session, some students asked whether Su Bingtian would regret not showing the best result of 9.83 seconds in the Olympic final.

Su Bingtian said that people are not machines, and it is difficult to perform best in the most important competition. There will definitely be ups and downs, but as long as the results obtained through hard work, they should be encouraged and recognized. Su Bingtian also admitted that he shouted loudly for himself after the semi-finals and also spent his physical fitness while releasing the pressure. During the two hours between the semi-finals and the finals, he failed to quickly return to his best condition. Even if he tried his best in the finals, he could not create amazing results again. How to quickly recover physical fitness is also the problem that he and Chinese track and field have to think about and overcome. The

lecture also has an experience session, and Su Bingtian teaches running postures to several students from the Affiliated Primary School of Jinan University.Su Bingtian believes that it is important to make teenagers fall in love with sports, and establishing Su Bingtian Speed Research and Training Center also hopes to use this platform to help more students who love sports improve their abilities, and cross-integrate with other disciplines to promote the progress of sports.

"Tomorrow is the birthday of the motherland. We are really happy living in a carefree era. I always love our country. I hope the country can prosper and wish you a happy holiday." At the end of the lecture, Su Bingtian presented blessings to the motherland and encouraged the students to bravely pursue their dreams and become pillars of the motherland.
