The Changning Tennis Court was built in 1957. It has undergone three major renovations in 1966, 2000 and 2019, and now it has a brand new look. Today (August 19), citizen representatives participating in the "Government Opening Month" event came here to follow the guidance of professional coaches and take a tennis "private coaching" class.

After introducing the public areas of Changning Tennis Court, the resident coach Liu first took everyone to understand the sport of tennis and learn the skills of holding and swinging the racket. "Correct posture is not only a guarantee of ball skills, but also a prerequisite for avoiding injuries during sports." Coach Liu patiently and carefully taught from the basics and corrected the movements one by one.

"The action looks simple, but it is quite tiring to repeat it several times." "I seem to have mastered a little trick." The citizen representatives said while warming up, and their interest was "ignited" all of a sudden.

After a short rest, everyone "moved" to the outdoor sports field and began to practice in groups with the ball. Bumping the ball , catching the ball, returning the ball... the difficulty gradually increased, and the high temperature could not resist the enthusiasm of the citizens. Until the end of the training, everyone was still not satisfied.

Among the citizen representatives who participated in the event, 9-year-old Chen Ranqiao was the youngest and the only one with experience in tennis. The reporter learned that he, who lives in an outer district, has been learning tennis for a year. When his mother told him about such an activity, the mother and son signed up together. "The venue here is very good, it is comfortable to play, and the coach is very patient. I like playing tennis. Although it is very tiring and sometimes I get injured, sports can exercise my body and make me many good friends." Chen Ran Qiao said.

Regarding issues such as the construction and opening of sports venues, the District Sports Bureau also invited citizen representatives to provide opinions and suggestions during the event.

“Can some outdoor venues like tennis courts be covered with movable roofs, so that you can exercise on rainy days and protect yourself from the sun in summer?”

“I usually get home very late during workdays. It would be convenient if I could have one at my doorstep. Sports venues and facilities would be great, and it would be better to have professional coaches, so that everyone can participate in more sports "

"Private lessons outside are quite expensive now. We are more assured if there are some public sports courses to popularize professional sports knowledge and skills. "

The District Sports Bureau is also on-site. The newly revised " Sports Law " has been popularized and promoted to help create a good atmosphere of "national fitness, both you and me".
