Mexican superstar Avarez’s manager and head coach Eddie Reynoso claimed that the Mexican had parted ways with the Golden Boy Promotion Company and that Avarez has now become a free fighter.
A statement issued by Eddie Reynoso on Saturday night confirmed that Avarez would "continue his boxing career."
The statement read: "As the head coach of Avarez, I allow myself to communicate with the boxing world and all our boxing fans. Starting from today November 6th, Avarez has become a free boxer."
