South Korea, An Siying, has recently won the far-reaching Korean Sports Newcomer Award. She is very happy about it and hopes that she will not be injured in 2020 and she wants to participate in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
The 17-year-old An Seyin has performed very well this season, winning a total of 5 championships in France, New Zealand, Canada, Akita Masters and Korea Masters. The world ranking has also jumped from last year’s 1341 to the present. The 9th place, with amazing progress, was awarded the "Most Potential Athlete of the Year" by the World Badminton Federation. At the end of the season, An Se Young won another honor and was successfully selected for the Korean Sports Newcomer Award.
