Durant listed Phoenix Suns as one of his top trade choices, which makes sense for him as they are a ready-made, efficient championship contender that might just need his addition to maybe be able to overcome Despite the difficulties encountered last season, we achieved better results.
But for fans, the thought of teaming up with Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and Durant is an exciting prospect. On July 7, Booker posted a tweet about a "trade offer." Fans didn't know what he meant, and they immediately speculated about his cooperation with Durant in Phoenix in conclusion.
In the early hours of Thursday morning, Booker posted "I agree with this proposal". It seems that there is no further explanation than this sentence. Naturally, his reply was filled with a jersey swap of sorts, showing Durant wearing a Suns jersey.
As of now, it's hard to say how the Durant trade is shaping up, but the overall picture doesn't look good. If Durant decides to leave Brooklyn, he may have to wait a while, as ESPN's Brian Windhorst reports: The Nets aren't happy with the offers they've received so far. Considering the Suns front office is re-evaluating where they are, what they have to offer right now isn't attractive to Brooklyn, which means the Nets are more interested in other things. That's why team brass and others are talking about the need for a third or fourth team in trades.
The Nets do have all summer to get a deal done, but the same thing applies to Irving unless they want to keep Irving in the Nets for a year without Durant.
