Photo by Li Jun On July 2, the 16th China Qinghai International Yellow River Crossing Extreme Challenge kicked off in Xunhua County, Haidong City, Qinghai Province, the only Salar Autonomous County in China. 211 athletes and sports enthusiasts from 20 countries and regions competed in the Yellow River wave. On the morning of the 3rd, the contestants competed in the Xunhua finals in the hometown of Salar. On the 4th, they held sub-station competitions in Guide County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, and on the 5th, they held sub-station competitions in Maqin County, Goluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. The large cascade power station Longyangxia held a carnival. Due to its characteristics of "high altitude, low water temperature, fast current, and thin oxygen", this event is favored by many swimming enthusiasts at home and abroad. (End)
