The Portland Trail Blazers could end up being a very good team next season. They had two very good defensive linemen in Jerami Grant and Josh Hart, and now they retain their elite offensive backfield as well. Anfernee Simmons is still young and can still improve, and maybe he can finally become the second star the Blazers have been lacking.
How far the Portland Trail Blazers can go next season remains to be seen, as they will have to pass top teams like the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers to reach the NBA Finals. However, retaining Anfernee Simons is a necessary step to build a top team, and his growth will be the key to the team entering the playoffs .
