2022 FINA World Championships, in the early morning of July 1st, Beijing time, in the final competition of the men's 1-meter diving event, Chinese player Wang Zongyuan won the gold medal in this event. Wang Zongyuan competes in three events in this event. He previously won gold medals in the men's 3-meter springboard and men's synchronized 3-meter springboard events.
So far, Wang Zongyuan has won three gold medals in this event, becoming the first person in the history of the Chinese diving team and the first player to win three gold medals in a single World Championships.

Wang Zongyuan's sixth jump was still very stable, scoring 86.40 points, and the total score reached 493.30 points, thus locking in the gold medal. It is worth mentioning that Wang Zongyuan won this event last time with a score of 440.25 points. This event is 53.05 points higher than the previous event.
Wang Zongyuan successfully won this gold medal, thus becoming the first person in history to win 3 gold medals in a single World Championship. Teammate Zheng Jiuyuan performed poorly and finished eighth in this event and missed the medal.
