She was responsible for completing two 3-meter springboard movements and one 10-meter platform movement. Bai Yuming, also 15 years old, had to complete two 10-meter platform movements and one 3 meter springboard action.
In the first round of the competition, Quan Hongchan completed 405C on the 3-meter board and scored 63.45 points. Bai Yuming, who appeared later, made a mistake when completing 207C on the 10-meter platform.
