Zach LaVine is considered one of the biggest players on the free agent market this summer. However, as it turns out, the Chicago Bulls don't seem to be letting him get a whiff of the frenzy that comes with free agency.
According to ESPN's NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, we should all expect LaVine and Bulls to complete their signings as soon as free agency opens.
"You can expect Zach LaVine to sit down with the Bulls at 6 p.m. and they will finalize a long-term max contract very quickly," Woj told SportsCenter. "Hopefully he can come back to Chicago ."
The Bulls clearly didn't waste time on LaVine, and the two sides appear to have reached an agreement -- at least verbally. According to reports, LaVine will renew his contract at a maximum price of US$200 million over five years.
A lot of people are interested in LaVine, with several teams looking to lure the All-Star to their cities. Judging from Woj's latest report, it seems that no other team has a chance.
