It is understood that white-covered chanterelle was discovered by researchers from research institutions such as the Key Laboratory of Tropical Translational Medicine of Hainan Medical College, Institute of Edible Fungus, and the Institute of School of Life Sciences of Zhejiang University in 2017 and 2020 in Hainan Parrot Ridge and Zhejiang Tianmushan , and was determined to be a new species after gene sequencing.
According to reports, the white cover chanterelles cap has smooth surface, wavy edges, yellow-white to light cream color, the flesh is solid, and the smell is not obvious.
