Planet claims that their more than 200 satellites image the entire earth's landmass, including Germany, in up to eight spectral bands every day. BKG will use remote sensing data, as well as other data sets, to conduct up-to-date analyzes of environmental changes caused by climate change. Through this cooperation agreement, employees at more than 400 German federal agencies now have direct access to Planet’s data.
