Today (October 26), a reporter from Beijing Youth Daily learned from the Sinopec News Office that the Xindongying crude oil depot of Sinopec Shengli Oilfield was officially completed and put into production. The Xindongying crude oil depot adopts safety, environmental protection and intelligent technology to achieve "zero odor", "zero leakage", "zero solid waste" and "zero emissions", and is expected to reduce carbon emissions by 1,351 tons per year.
After completion and production, the new Dongying crude oil depot is located in Niuzhuang Town, Dongying District, Shandong Province. It covers an area of 504 mu. The storage capacity of is 680,000 cubic meters. Compared with the old warehouse, the storage capacity is 30%, and the unit storage capacity is reduced by 25.6%. National Pipeline Network Company Dongying Station and National Petroleum and Natural Gas Large Flow Metering Station are relocated and built simultaneously.
Shengli Oilfield comprehensively promotes the green, low-carbon and sustainable development of oilfields. During the construction of the oil depot, we adhere to high standards and high quality, and all indicators exceed the national high-quality engineering standards. At the same time, we insist on integrating the ecological priority concept into the entire process of design and construction, and use green and low-carbon energy such as solar energy and steam to replace the former boilers and heating furnaces; tank truck transportation adopts closed loading, build oil and gas recovery devices, and recycle crude oil loading and unloading and crude oil storage tank top hydrocarbon gas for production and living gas; implement rain and sewage separation, collect production wastewater, rainwater, and accident sewage, and use it for greening water and return to underground oil flooding after treatment.

Xindongying Crude Oil Depot has achieved the transformation of various business control modes from passive to active, and after production, the number of operators decreased from 189 to 20. The quality of crude oil produced in different blocks of the oil field is different. In order to meet the personalized needs of downstream enterprises, the new oil depot can automatically calculate and identify different oil products through flowmeter and density meter , and automatically divide the quality, storage and transportation without anyone operating. The new oil depot can also realize functions such as intelligent security and intelligent optimization of oil pipelines, helping enterprises achieve inherent safety and environmental protection.

, Deputy General Manager of Shengli Petroleum Administration Co., Ltd., introduced that the new oil depot uses a level 1 energy-efficient motor, transformer, oil transfer pump , uses new insulation materials, and uses high-efficiency and energy-saving lamps to reduce energy consumption; uses office building top floors and fences to build photovoltaic panels, parking lot design photovoltaic carports, etc. to layout photovoltaic construction to maximize the use of light energy. In addition, using the carbon neutral forest of Shengli Oilfield to offset the total carbon emissions required for heat supply, it is expected to achieve carbon neutrality in the new oil reservoir.
The Lao Dongying crude oil depot of Shengli Oilfield was completed and put into production in 1986. It is responsible for 70% of the crude oil transmission and sales tasks of Shengli Oilfield, and has resold a total of 860 million tons of crude oil. However, as time goes by, the storage capacity scale and technical standards of Lao Dongying crude oil depot have been difficult to meet the needs of high-quality oil field development. In December last year, the relocation and construction of the Xindongying crude oil depot was started.
