The boundary line of Heilongjiang Province is 2981.26 kilometers long. The GDP of Heilongjiang Province in 2021 is 1.4 trillion yuan, and such data is not very impressive across the country.
At the beginning, some ethnic minorities settled here in the pre-Qin period and established contacts with the central dynasty, but most of the contacts at that time were affiliation.
Jiamusi City is an important central city in the eastern region of Heilongjiang, mainly based on the food industry and light industry. Jiamusi has a very good geographical environment. It is located in the hinterland of Heilongjiang, Ussuri River and Songhua River .
Here, let’s mention how the name of Jiamusi came from? During the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, this place was written as Kashan, Jiamu Kesi, which was translated in Chinese as Jiamusi. The word Jiamusi means Yicheng in Manchu .
Before Yuan Dynasty , most of the time was ethnic minorities ruled here. After the Yuan Dynasty, during the Ming Dynasty was set up here. Nurgandusi was set up here. during the Qing Dynasty was located under the jurisdiction of the Jilin General. During the Qing Dynasty, Yilan Prefecture was set up here and ruled a large part of the area. In 1910, Huachuan County was set up, and the Huachuan County Management Office was stationed in Dongxing Town.
1912, that is, the first year of the Republic of China, the Huachuan County Office moved to Yuelai Town . In 1930, Jiamusi Tun and Dongxing Town merged and renamed it to Jiamusi Town, which belongs to the management of Huachuan County.
In 1934, the Northeast region fell, and the puppet Manchukuo established Sanjiang Province , and the provincial resident was stationed in Jiamusi. In 1937, the puppet Manchukuo decided to adjust its administrative divisions and establish Jiamusi City. On December 1, Jiamusi City was officially established and under the jurisdiction of Sanjiang Province.
1945 The Anti-Japanese War ended, and the Sanjiang Regional Administrative Office was established in Jiamusi area. In November, Sanjiang area was established and Hejiang Province was established. The provincial government's headquarters was in Jiamusi City.
In the 38th year of the Republic of China, Hejiang Province and Heilongjiang Province were merged. In 1954, Songjiang Province and Heilongjiang Province were merged again. At this time, the territory area of Heilongjiang was basically determined.
In August 1958, Jiamusi City was transferred to Hejiang District for management. In 1966, Jiamusi City was changed to a provincial municipality, and in 1968 it was again included in the jurisdiction of Hejiang District. It was not changed back until 1983.
In 1984, the State Council approved the abolition of Hejiang area and the establishment of Jiamusi City. So far, after so many years of breaking up and reunion, Jiamusi City has finally been fully displayed on the map of our country.
The subsequent history is mostly adjusted within Jiamusi City’s own zoning. For example, in 2006, the Yonghong District of Jiamusi City was abolished, and the area under its jurisdiction was given to Jiamusi City’s suburbs . In 2016, Fuyuan County was abolished and county-level city Fuyuan City was established. There are many similar zoning adjustments, so I will not introduce them one by one here.
