The ropes of dry silhouette Pu'er tea are firm, bright in color, and shiny in oily surface, fully expressing the vitality of the tea; the ropes of wet silhouette Pu'er tea are loose, dull in color, rough in black and green, and there is green mold left on the surface or interlayer of the tea leaves.
Distinguish from the smell

For example, the round iron Pu'er tea aged in the dry warehouse has a fresh chestnut red tea, which is a typical soup color of raw tea in the dry warehouse; while the Tongqing Pu'er tea has turned to a dark chestnut color. The tea soup of Shicang tea is as dark as ripe tea , and even turns black. Qizi Iron Discus Pu'er tea, the tea soup is dark chestnut color, which is a typical soup color of wet clay tea.

The bottom of the dry silencing Pu'er tea is chestnut yellow to dark chestnut color, with a soft texture. The bottom of the raw tea has little color change during the aging of the dry tea. The bottom of the leaves of the wet pot Pu'er tea is dark chestnut or black. The leaves of wet nurse raw tea and ripe tea are very similar in color, but the texture of the ripe tea is dry and hard, while the texture of the wet nurse raw tea remains soft and elastic.
