Today, the sun is very good.
Early in the morning, I took off all the sheets, and quilt covers of Uncle San, and took some winter clothes to the river to wash them.
It is very simple to wash things in the countryside. Take it to the stone slab by the river soak it, sprinkle it with washing powder, then step on it with your feet, use a washing rod, and then put it in the river. The water will be cleaned as soon as it rinses. After washing, I picked it back and dried it on the clothes drying rod at the door. The dried clothes were filled with sunlight and the fragrance of washing powder.
After washing clothes, I still have to go to the back mountain to help Uncle San pick up the firewood that he had cut in the last period. Uncle San said that the firewood had been chopping for a while and it must have been dry.
In fact, there are still many tasks to do. Now the ceiling and railings of the chicken bar are loose, and the doors of the cow bar are rotten. All of these need to be reinforced and repaired.
Uncle San is old and can’t do a lot of work. It was already afternoon when
and so on doing all this. After eating something casually, I immediately drove a motorcycle to the town to buy some meat and vegetables and daily necessities. Because in the afternoon, there are no meat and vegetables sold in the countryside, so I have to buy them in the town.
When the dusk is vast, I have done almost the work I should do today. The rest is to take back the quilt and sheets and lay them and cover them.
I will go back to the city to work in two days. When will I come back to see my third uncle? I really can’t say that.
In a blink of an eye, it was dark. Smoke rose again on the roof of every household.
