On the evening of October 29, the first Zhuhai Ecological Civilization Electronic Poster and Video Contest Awarding Party was held in the Concert Hall of Zhuhai Vocational College of Art. 12 electronic posters and 9 video works won first, second, and third prizes, and 28 electronic posters and 9 video works won excellent works and online popularity awards.
A folk music ensemble "Dunhuang" kicked off the awards party. The teachers and students of Zhuhai Vocational College of Art incorporated the concept of harmonious coexistence with nature into song, dance and music, bringing a green "audiovisual feast" to the audience. Subsequently, the leaders of the organizer presented awards to the winners.
It is understood that the two activities were launched in July and August this year respectively, aiming to mobilize all sectors of the society to promote green and low-carbon environmental protection concepts through videos, posters and other forms, vigorously promote ecological culture, and continuously enhance citizens’ ecological environmental protection Awareness and civilized literacy will improve the level of ecological civilization construction in Zhuhai.
After more than a month of solicitation, the two events received more than 1,000 e-poster works from 150 teams and individuals, as well as 75 video short films from 42 units and individuals. The organizer initially selected the finalists for publicity and voting. The public voting session was completed on October 8. More than 100,000 people participated in the voting and voted for the Internet Popularity Award.
In mid-October, the organizer organized an expert jury to conduct a professional review of the finalists of the two events. A total of 13 video award-winning works and 34 electronic poster award-winning works were reviewed. Among them, the single poster "Whale's Tears", the series of posters "Building a Home for Life Together", and the video "Environmental Protection By Your Side, Live "Carbon" Together" won the first prize.
After the awarding ceremony, Chen Haiyuan, deputy director of Zhuhai Ecological Environment Bureau , said in an interview that the two activities were implemented on the basis of the Zhuhai Ecological Civilization University Action Alliance, in order to make the idea of ecological civilization form a mouthful. The oral language of the masses makes ecological civilization rooted in society and deeply rooted in the younger generation.
