The eleventh year of Shaoxing (1141), he served as the trialist of Yue Fei's case with Qin Hui's party clerk Zhongcheng He Zhu , Luo Ruji , Wanqie , etc. Later, He Zhu was dismissed for sympathizing with Yue Fei and exonerating and defending Yue Fei. Although Zhou Sanwei is not Qin Hui's confidant, he is a timid person who loses his backbone and is indecent and imprisoned. He is of course not comparable to Wan Qisheng, but he is not worthy of being on par with Xue Renfu, Li Ruopu, He Yanyou, He Zhu and others; in addition, what is more important is: Yue Fei's grandson Yue Ke wrote a biography for his grandfather. In the biography, he commended Li Ruopu, He Yanyou, Xue Renfu, He Zhu and others, and condemned Wan Qisheng, but he did not mention Zhou Sanwei in just saying that it actually reflects Zhou Sanwei's status, role and performance in Yue Fei's unjust prison.
