Today, according to US media reports, the Los Angeles Lakers will begin to sell shooting guard Danny Green. According to New York NBA reporter Ian Begley, the Lakers will discuss deals with teams interested in Danny Green.
Last summer, Danny Green signed a two-year, $30 million contract with the Lakers. Last season, Green averaged 8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in the regular season, and made 36.7% of his 3-pointers.
This offseason, there are many rumors about Danny Green's trade. There has been news recently that the Lakers intend to obtain Spurs shooting guard DeMar DeRozan through a trade, and Green will be a bargaining chip.
In addition, NBA reporter Ian Begley reported that the Lakers have not yet decided to renew their contract with Kyle Kuzma in advance. Begley believes that the Lakers will not seriously consider trading Kuzma. In the 2019-20 season, Kuzma averaged 12.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, averaging 10 points per game in the playoffs. His contract has only one year left.
