Rockets head coach Mike D'Antoni said he hopes James Harden, Russell Westbrook and Luke Barmott will join the team in the middle of the week-he said they are all Training in Houston, I don’t think it’s a big deal to miss the start of the Rockets camp.
D'Antoni talked about Harden, Westbrook and Barmott. He said: "I think it will be very good. They will be ready for 5V5 training as soon as they get here. I don't think there will be any after 8 games. Any impact. It may be 2-3 days, not sure, but it should arrive in the middle of the week."
Mike D'Antoni commented on James Harden and Russell Westbrook: "We will not ask Why (they are not here). They are already on the road.”
Mike D'Antoni said that the small training camp will help the Rockets integrate their new players (Robert Covington, DeMarre Carroll, Jay Green, etc.).
D'Antoni said that Eric Gordon looked particularly good in the first two training sessions. "He didn't miss a training that looked good. The shot was very good."
Eric Gordon (knee injury at the beginning of the season) said that he feels good and he enjoys the feeling of being able to train without treatment : "I have been looking forward to it."
Gordon: "I won't think about my knees anymore. I can do whatever I want on the court."
Daniel House (the whole I have been dealing with shoulder problems all season): "I am completely healthy. This break has given many people a chance to recover from injuries."
