Xia Ji Q&A: The team has ideas about buying out the market. Pozin’s back injury sounds scary.

Live it on February 27th Lone Ranger reporter Tim Cato recently answered questions from fans on The Athletic and talked about some topics about the team.

fans: If Drummond and Griffin or other players can move, do you think the Lone Ranger will appear in the buyout market?

Cato: Yes. If by the beginning of April, the players on the team's lineup look no different, I would be shocked.

fans: How vulnerable is Porzingis?

Cato: (His) back injury (has been missing several games in a row) sounds scary, I can say for sure.

fans: If we do something before the trade deadline (March 26), Brunson may be the team’s best trading asset. Is this almost a guarantee?

Cato: Yes, of course.

fans: Do you have any thoughts on the lineup of Doncic / Hardaway Jr / Finney Smith / Porzingis / Powell that you haven't used this season? Should the team try?

Cato: They used this lineup many times last season, which did not help them improve defense, which is clearly their goal.

fans: Porzingis and Oladipo swap clubs, what do you think?

Cato: I don’t like this idea. The best version of Oladipo is far less interesting than the best version of Porzingis, and in my opinion, Oladipo is even more uncertain in terms of health.

fans: Assuming the Lone Ranger does not trade Porzingis,What is the most impactful trade the team can make before the deadline?

Cato: I want to win the second round pick from the Pistons in exchange for Ellington .

fans: After a stable start against the Greens, do you think James Johnson will have more playing time?

Cato: Yes, Carlisle will reward players who perform well on the edge of the rotation. But in general, I think he is the best among marginal rotation players. I think he doesn't have enough threats on the offensive end to become a player who can get an appearance in every game.
