Live it, May 6th. Former Lakers player & head coach Byron Scott recently accepted an interview with TMZ, and talked about the recent hotly debated playoffs, he expressed the hope that the league can talk less nonsense and stick to the routine , and made it clear that the idea of a playoff was bad.
Scott said in an interview: "I agree with james that it should be the top 8 teams (promotion), as has been the case for so many years, I don't believe in those play-offs and all that Stuff."
Scott said that the reason why teams like the current No. 8 seed Warriors would accept the playoffs is obvious, and that is because it gives them a better chance to make the playoffs.
In addition, Scott believes that Lakers fans should calm down, because it is "nearly impossible" to get the Lakers home early, and the Lakers "absolutely" can successfully defend their title: "When James returns healthy, Davis also They were great when they came back and were healthy. They were together all year last year, they knew each other well, they knew what they needed to do, so I wasn't worried at all." Scott, who has won 3 championships with the Lakers in his career, played 1,073 regular season games in his career, averaging 14.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game. He served as the Lakers coach from 2014 to 2016.
