When Mr. Chopsticks first watched this movie, he thought it was a thrilling large-scale display. Unexpectedly, the movie story was so simple that he was outrageous. The film tells the story of how the little girl Anna survived the Nazis alone after she escaped the Nazi genocide. The main scene is very simple, that is, in a house, the line of sight spreads outward from this, but it is only tens of meters. The farthest point is an attic above the house, which is like an escape from a room.
But the director will tell us later that making a movie is not for disappointment and vomiting. From the beginning of the massacre for the rest of my life, the film silently captured our pity for the weak, allowing us to interpret the storm of extremism together with Anna, who in fact represents the common destiny of the group, in such a minimal and minimalist situation. Of course, we can say that the whole film is a metaphor for this proposition, but as a story conflict, the film is expressed through her struggle with the Nazi soldiers. Just hiding for success is obviously not the pattern the director wants to show. The director needs to use this symbolic struggle to complete a contest between the smallest individual and the grand war. At the same time, as I just mentioned, the director needs to let Anna repair and maintain her human condition in terms of character creation. In addition, the hope and the joy of victory generated by this active struggle will form a paradoxical suspense with a certain despair at the end of the film, and cause people to think more.
Anna met a rogue cat in her hiding place, became friends with it, shared the pitiful food together, and repaired the human nature hurt by the original desire to survive.
