The United States' GPS system has always been the most powerful positioning and navigation system in the world. In the current conflict between Russia and Ukraine, even Russia has to bow to the US GPS system. It can be seen that the Russian fighter jets that have gone to Ukraine to fight have added temporary handheld GPS navigation systems. By adding temporary handheld GPS navigation systems to Russia The army's large number of low-altitude Su25 attack aircraft, , Su24 front-line bombers and Su34 fighter bombers, provided more reliable navigation capabilities. When Russia first launched a special military operation in Ukraine, the Russian army did not equip a large number of fighter jets with this handheld GPS navigation system , which also led to the Russian troops' combat efficiency on the Ukrainian battlefield.

Russia has long come up with its own GLONASS system, and the GLONASS system is also a global positioning and navigation system that benchmarks the US GPS. However, it is regrettable that Russia's GLONASS system has never been able to surpass GPS, and it has not even caught up with the true level of the US GPS navigation system. This also leads to the critical moment of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, Russia even needs to rely on the United States. However, since all the GPS systems used by the Russian military are civilian systems at present, the United States has not directly interfered with these GPS systems. But at a critical moment when Russia and Ukraine had fought fiercely for more than 200 days, it was reported that China's Beidou system and Russia's Gronas system will be integrated, which also means that the US's GPS will be difficult to dominate during this period.

According to a report by Russian media on September 27, China and Russia have concluded an agreement to deploy the GLONAS Beidou system ground station within each other's borders. It is understood that Russia will at least build three measurement stations in Changchun, Urumqi and Shanghai, and China will build the Beidou satellite ground station in Obinsk, Irkutsk , and Petrobarovsk, Kamchatka. In this project, the specific completion date has not been disclosed. According to Borisov, president of Russian State Aerospace Corporation, the establishment of ground stations with global positioning navigation systems in China and Russia will help improve the navigation accuracy and reliability of GLONAS and Beidou systems.

Zhan Research believes that the strong alliance between China and Russia in the global positioning navigation system and mutually completing the setting of ground stations will also make Beidou a backup of the GLONAS system, and the GLONAS system will become a backup of China Beidou. Such mutual backup will also lead to the United States having backup options when interfering with the global positioning navigation system between China and Russia, because the United States cannot interfere with both Beidou and GLONAS systems at the same time.

Beidou and Glonas set up ground stations with each other. In addition to meeting the more reliable needs of China and Russia in the military field, the US GPS navigation system will not be the only one in the future, and it can impact the status of the GPS navigation system in the commercial field.
