Medvedev said that this is almost equivalent to using Article 5 of the North Atlantic Convention, namely the collective defense clause, on Ukraine. Medvedev also warned that if NATO member states do not stop shipping more weapons to Kiev , the Russian-Ukrainian conflict could reach another level, become more unpredictable, and will begin to involve more countries.
