Cyprus officials admitted on Thursday, October 20 that they have few ideas on how to stop the influx of informal immigrants, and the number of informal immigrants this year has doubled compared with 2021.
In the House Interior Committee, lawmakers discussed the issue of barbed wire spanning 11 km of buffer zones—the main entry point for informal immigration.
