Starting from February 21, 2022, all fully vaccinated visa holders will enter Australia without applying for an entry waiver, but unvaccinated applicants still need to hold a valid exemption license before entering Australia to enter Australia.
Complete vaccination requirements
- Applicants must complete two doses of vaccination approved or approved by TGA at least 14 days apart. Here we specifically state that the TGA-approved Chinese vaccines include Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines. Among them, Beijing, Lanzhou, Changchun and Chengdu Biotechnology are all recognized Sinopharm vaccines, not Wuhan Biotechnology. Sinopharm vaccines are suitable for vaccination for people under the age of 60.
- Or at least one injection of Johnson & Johnson/Janssen-Cilag COVID Vaccine.
- Children under the age of 12 can enjoy the same rights as those who have been fully vaccinated. If vaccination cannot be completed due to medical reasons, proof of eligibility can be provided.
Visa for visitors
Applicants who want to travel to Australia to visit relatives or participate in business activities can prepare. If the applicant’s previous visa is affected by the epidemic, then the new application has the opportunity to exempt the application fee of 145 Australian dollars. The following are the conditions for exemption of the application fee:
1. When applying for a new 600 visa (except for 600 frequent travel), you are outside Australia;
2. Holding or once held a visitor visa, and you also meet:
● When the visa is approved, you are outside Australia; and
● Visa expires from March 20, 2020 to June 30, 2022; and
● Visa is a multiple round trip or single round trip visa. You can only apply for a visa application fee exemption if you have not entered Australia before you have entered Australia before.
Application fee exemption only once. Whether it is approved or rejected, subsequent applications require submission of application fees.
