A shooting occurred in a community apartment building in Houston on Friday night, killing two teenagers (17 and 18 years old) and injuring a (20-year-old) man. Several people have been detained and the Sheriff's Office is reviewing surveillance video to learn what happened.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said that at about 10:40 pm on Friday (1st), the police immediately went to the Houston area after receiving a report of a shooting. Three men were found shot in the parking lot of an apartment complex in northern Harris County, about 24 kilometers north of downtown Houston.
Sheriff Gonzalez said that two teenagers who were shot were pronounced dead at the hospital, one of whom was 17 years old and the other was 18 years old. Another 20-year-old man who was shot twice is expected to survive.
Currently, multiple people have been detained by the police, and the Sheriff's Office is reviewing surveillance video to understand the entire incident.
According to Houston County Sheriff Dennis Wolfford, the shooting may have started at the pool party, where multiple people fired shots. Several people have been detained and the Sheriff's Office is reviewing surveillance video to learn what happened.
Wolford said that currently the police do not know who fired the first shot, but they have indeed detained multiple gunmen. Police are trying to figure out who fired the shots and who shot the dead and wounded.
