One person was injured when the canopy of a mobile night market in Yishun, Singapore, failed to withstand strong winds and heavy rain and collapsed.

Photos uploaded by netizen Beng Ee Low on the Facebook page showed that the mobile night market outside Yishun K. Wah Cinema was hit by strong winds and heavy rain, causing half of the canopy to collapse and several stalls to be destroyed. On the ground, the scene was a mess.
After the canopy collapsed, the mobile night market was surrounded by a cordon. After the rain stopped, several people who looked like stall owners gathered in front of the destroyed stalls to clean up the mess while pushing large boxes.

The Singapore Civil Defense Force confirmed that it received a call for help from near No. 51, Yishun Central 1 Road, and sent a person to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
