The 10 red-crowned cranes arrived this time, each with 5 males and females. The birds were 2-5 years old and were in good health.
Next they will receive training in foraging ability, flying ability and evading enemy ability in the enclave training net cage to improve their survival rate in the wild. After the wild training is completed, the red-crowned crane will be released to Shanshan . It is reported that according to the plan of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration of and the Shaanxi Forestry Bureau of and the wild-releasing red-crowned cranes, will also release red-crowned cranes in Dongying City, Shandong Province and Linwei District, Weinan City in the next two months.
