Outdoorsmen discover these accidents while camping, fishing or gardening in their backyards. Luckily for us, they took a lot of photos - now you too will be surprised by this rare and special side of nature.

Some of Earth's amazing creatures and natural phenomena are exactly how they should be, while others are what we call "glitches in the matrix," or beautiful mistakes of nature. Outdoorsmen discover these accidents while camping, fishing or gardening in their backyards. Luckily for us, they took a lot of photos - now you too will be surprised by this rare and special side of nature.

Conjoined twins

Just like in humans, things can go wrong as things go, this also happens in the wild. The most common lobsters are the brown muddy ones, which blend in really well with the ocean floor (which makes sense), but lobsters do come in other colors like blue, orange-red, yellow, and of course this guy here: Split Colored lobster. The odds of giving birth to a bicolor lobster are one in 50 million.

But the fascinating thing about split lobsters is that they are conjoined twins, with 9 out of 10 split lobsters being hermaphrodites. Of course, with the exception of the albino lobster, these are the rarest lobsters around.

We swear this bull is not taking steroids

Cancel this bull's gym membership as it is not required. Belgian blue cattle are known for having a genetic mutation that causes "double muscle". A lack of myostatin, which regulates muscle growth, is what causes excessive muscle growth. Despite their gentle appearance, they are a very gentle breed. Belgian Blue cattle are the cattle of choice as they have more than 20% more muscle mass, making them more suitable for selling meat.

We are happy to report that they do not suffer from the disease and are not taking steroids. Well, maybe you could call this property steroidal, but humans are not responsible for genetic mutations. Finally free!

Kermit the Frog is not a vegetarian

Frogs are charming little creatures. They start out as tadpoles swimming in water and then evolve into leaping land animals. They also have special eating habits because they eat plants and animals, like this guy here who decided to eat a small snake for lunch. That screaming little mouth inside this Australian green tree frog is either a tiny lizard or a tiny snake, you decide. It's a great Predator action shot, that's for sure.

Most adult frogs are carnivorous and will eat lizards, crickets, spiders, and even other frogs. It's hard to believe that Kermit the Frog would be such a predator in the wild. Who would have thought?

Here Come the Birds

This looks like a scene from the movie "Birds" , where thousands of birds fly overhead, trapping you on the ground with nowhere to hide. Luckily, this photo is more innocent than that. Millions of starlings migrate from northern Europe to Italy. This photo was taken at rome between October and February when the migration season is in full swing. If you cut off the bottom of the photo, it could be a still photo from an old TV.

There are so many birds that they even block the sunlight and give people a gloomy feeling in the air. It gave the impression that something bad was coming, but they were just doing what they knew - heading south.

Would you eat fruit that looks like a human hand?

Yes, this is indeed a fruit found in Asia. This fruit is called bergamot for obvious reasons. This fruit belongs to the citrus family and although it contains no juice or pulp, it is very fragrant. Mainly used to diffuse aroma in aroma chambers, but also used in salads, dressings and even baking. There are several varieties of this fruit, and the one you see here is a closed hand rather than an open one.

When ripe, they turn yellow like lemons, and the open-handed ones look even weirder than this. They also make great alcoholic drinks. Fruit is like a hand in a bottle of vodka – now that’s weird.

Beware: Flying Fish is real

Flying fish are like those who can't decide whether they want to be a bird, soaring in the air, or a fish, swimming in the sea. It seems like their indecisiveness has given them the worst of both worlds. They are fish that breathe underwater like other fish, but they can jump out of the water and glide through the air like birds. Look at this guy's "wingspan".

It is believed that nature designed these flying fish to jump and glide through the air to escape predators in the water. However, they have the best of both worlds, like this fly-on-the-ship guy.

Not a sight you see often

Capturing lightning strikes on camera is no easy task, but capturing six at once is a long shot anyway. This Lake Michigan photo of a stormy night is a sci-fi movie with creepy music. They could be rays from aliens invading Earth. Also, if you stare at them long enough, they look like sticks walking around the lake.

While lightning may look beautiful from a distance, lightning has been known to strike people; although it's rare, it does happen. If you happen to get hit, don't worry; only 10% of people die.

Curly Horse

This is not a life-size stuffed animal horse, it has furry hair that you can braid like Barbie doll's hair. This is the Bashkir curl, or what they call curl. Curly hair comes in all shapes and sizes and is found all over the world. What's so special about them? Apparently, their unique genes lead to curly hair. Absolutely cute in any color, these curls top the cuteness charts compared to the straight pony we all know.

It's like a giant cute horse that you just want to pet while running your fingers through its awesome soft curls. It's not every day you see a shaggy horse shuddering.

When the clouds team up with aliens

Have you ever been calmly driving on your way to work, school, or just running errands, and suddenly started worrying that you were being sucked up into the sky by a UFO? If you've never had this fear, you've probably never encountered a cloud like the one pictured below. Just take one look and you'll know what we're talking about; these furry beauties look like alien UFOs in disguise!

If we saw these on the highway we would hit the gas pedal very quickly. It feels like any minute now, some cloud-like ladder will come down and the alien invasion will begin.

Crabs stop traffic once a year

Every corner of this earth is full of unexpected things. Australia is home to many strange and unexpected things, including the adorable koalas. They even have a red crab that migrates and takes over Christmas Island and all the crabs go into the ocean so they can mate and have babies. Oh, the wheel of life. When these crustaceans migrate from October to November, it's really the crab sauce in town.

How funny is it that there are red crabs everywhere on the street? Like, oh, we can't go to school today; it's red crab migration day! If only we could take a day off from biological mating season.

Did you know there is an electric blue tarantula?

This guy looks like he was made from a blue children's pipe cleaner on a school workbench, but it's actually a real cobalt blue tarantula. Look – some tarantulas are colorful and therefore popular pets. Tarantulas are hard to sell as pets in pet stores, so obviously the color blue helps a lot. We love the color blue, but this doesn't look anywhere near the house at all.

Although they make popular pets in the spider world, these guys are fast and have strong venom defenses if you are bitten. But don't worry; they're only native to the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia.

She is Invisible

Glasswing The butterfly has been practicing invisibility for as long as it has existed. We'd say it's pretty well done, too, considering taking a photo of this butterfly is a rare find. Greta Oto is the name of this butterfly, which in means pearl ear, but throughout Mesoamerica where this butterfly lived it was called "espejitos" which means small mirror. Its clear wings are great for camouflage, so it doesn't need a lot of color to blend in or stand out.

Consider the protection it has built in, making it difficult to see and become someone's lunch snack. Who doesn’t want to be invisible at some point? Don’t we all want to have choices?

When you can't decide which apple to buy

Most people who like apples have very firm stances on which fruit they prefer. Especially when it comes to red apples and green apples, if people are passionate enough about it, the debate about which one tastes better can become quite heated. But now, we get what we call the peace apple: half red, half green. This is to help two opposing parties reach a consensus.

Apparently this little guy grew up by accident in someone's garden. We wanted to know what it was like inside and, of course, what it tasted like.

This pigeon tasted the rainbow

You know the Skittles slogan, "Taste the rainbow?" Well, this pigeon took things to another level and literally turned into a rainbow. Look at the wonderful plumage on this bird found in England. It's beautiful and we're pretty sure if more pigeons looked like this they would be more popular with humans. We couldn't tie-dye a rainbow better ourselves. As usual, Mother Nature does it best.

We have a feeling that this little guy knows he has an advantage over the other pigeons. Look at him holding something on the windowsill.

Zos on the farm

This isn't a paint job or an optical illusion - no, this is zebra , the offspring of a male zebra and a female horse. They look like a horse with stripes like a zebra. These animals have been breeding since Charles Darwin observed them in the 1800s. They're really cool and look like someone started painting a zebra, but half the canvas is blank. It's like he's not sure what he's going to be.

They are definitely a sight to behold. You may even need to touch him to believe it's real. The obvious change in color makes it seem like it's not real. Oh, but he's really nice.

The rare albino baby dolphin

Angel, as she is called, was rescued from the Taiji in western Japan from the nets of fishermen who rounded up dolphins for their meat. Angel survived, but her mother was not so lucky. Being different didn't stop Angel from being herself. Check out her here keeping up with the best of them. There's something beautiful about being different, and sometimes it comes at a cost. Angel knows both.

Angel is now imprisoned, and while she may be safe from fishermen and fishing nets, she is not truly free like she once was. Beautiful things like angels come at a heavy price.

square starfish

It's OK to be different; we all are, whether we like it or not, so just embrace your uniqueness. We want the rest of the starfish to look like we did for the square starfish. genetics may make him a square and make him wrong, but he's just as beautiful as the next one. Due to a birth defect, he looks like an intricately designed ravioli.

It's not every day you see a square starfish, but that just goes to show that genes play a role in every living thing on Earth, and no one is exempt.

The Mysterious Crooked Forest

There are about 400 crooked trees in the Crooked Forest near the Polish town of Gryfino. Planted around 1930, the trees, all curving toward the north, remain an unsolved mystery. These are pine trees, only this area is curved and the other surrounding pine trees are not. Many theories exist, such as aliens, German tanks running over them when they were young adults, or a strange gravitational pull in the area. The choice is yours.

Still, others believe they were manipulated by local farmers into making curved furniture, and with the outbreak of World War II, the citizens of Grifino simply disappeared forever.

Flowers without stems, roots or leaves

Rafflesia Arnoldii, or corpse flower, is a parasitic flower that has no stems and lies on the ground, feeding on other plants. It is the largest and smelliest flower on earth, measuring 3 feet in diameter and weighing about 20 pounds. From a distance, it is a very beautiful flower, after all it kills and eats other plants in order to survive; it gives off the smell of carrion.

This flower is problematic because it smells like rotting meat and is endangered in its native Southeast Asian rainforests. Yet these mysterious parasitic flowers with no stems, roots or leaves continue to capture our attention.

Yes, white ladybugs are a thing

You may first think that this is an albino ladybug, but that is not the case as white ladybugs are more common than most people think. There are three types of white ladybugs, but this beauty is one of the 15 spotted white ladybugs native to North America, so look closely next time you are out in nature because you may have a chance to see one of these in person kind. Keep your eyes peeled.

As they age, their color becomes grayer and their spots begin to fade. These are the cutest beetles around - ladybugs, that is. Plus, they make great garden helpers, so keep them around when you find them.

Two halves make a whole

It’s not every day that we see a two-sided turtle. Split in the middle, like two separate turtles fused together, this little guy comes in two different designs. Maybe he's a conjoined twin? If it can happen to humans and lobsters, why can't it also happen to turtles? Whatever the cause, a genetic mutation, chaos in the womb, or the hatching of fused twins from the same egg; we think he's awesome.

We don’t know how likely this is to happen, but we know for sure that he is a rare find and the most unique turtle we have ever seen. Go ahead and show off your best side.

mixed signal peacock

Regardless, this peacock may have a hard time finding a mate because the more colorful and delicate the feathers, the more attractive they are in the peacock world. The peacock's condition is partial leukocytosis, which means some parts of the body lack pigment while others do. This is not uncommon among birds and peacocks. Here, this guy comes in three variations: light green, white, and dark.

Looks like someone forgot to finish the coloring on the peacock, or there was something wrong with his genetic makeup. Regardless, peacocks are amazing birds, and this guy is more unique than the rest.

flamingo pink

It looks like this grasshopper hit a pink flamingo and the pink rubbed off on him. No, that's not what happened. As someone said, this is actually a pink grasshopper or cricket. Usually they are bright green, with pink or tan colors considered rare. They are found across North America, so you never know when you might encounter a jumping pink cricket. Not your everyday color, but he's trying.

A miracle that makes a difference. We just found this little creature so interesting because of its pink color in the forest. Not exactly the best camouflage in the forest, but we're still grateful it's there.

Dragons do exist

This little guy is smiling at the camera. Basically, he's a sea dragon with a cool personality, but to be more precise, he's a newt, or in layman's terms, a salamander. This juvenile salamander is unusual in that it does not change shape like most salamanders. He's cute and weird at the same time, straight out of a science fiction movie. Besides his smile, you have to love those furry horn-like things sticking out of his head.

wiki Commons

For a little creature, he definitely has the cool factor going for him. He's definitely the best salamander we've ever seen.

Two Claws for the Price of One

When someone spotted this giant reb crab on the beach, it looked a little different, so look closely and you'll see that its second claw has grown along with the first. This just goes to show that humans don't need to mess with genetics because nature has always done it. It doesn't look like his second claw works like a pincer, but regardless, he has four spikes instead of two.

The ocean is full of interesting and bizarre creatures, and if we only saw this guy, we'd think they were all like this. Maybe a thousand years from now, this will be the norm.

A real Lorax tree

Of course, Dr. Seuss's book "The Lorax" makes sense. After all, isn’t this the Lorax? Well, the truth is, it's not even a tree. This telephone pole has been transformed into a sociable weaver's nest. Apparently a luxurious bird's nest, the top floor is a lovebird suite. But seriously, this is a super big nest that can house up to 100 pairs of birds. They built the largest nests on earth.

These are clever little birds that build intricate nesting structures for the benefit of the entire flock. It's like a pre-planned apartment building built just for relatives. Oh my, the thought of all relatives under one roof.

A precious elephant

All babies are very cute; that's the way they are designed and that's why everyone falls in love with them. Especially this one, a white and pink elephant. This little baby is covered in white peach down, making you want to snuggle up to that adorable face. White elephants are considered rare; they are traditionally believed to bring good luck in the predominantly Buddhist religion of Myanmar where the baby lives.

This adorable little companion is being bathed by her caregiver in Naypyitaw, Myanmar's capital. As you can see, she is a special elephant and gets a lot of attention for it.

Nothing is as it seems

Nature never ceases to amaze, and if you live in an extremely cold place, you may have the opportunity to witness this amazing phenomenon firsthand. Frost blooms appear on young sea ice or thin lake ice when the air is cooler than the water. They usually appear in clusters and really look like crystalline snowflakes. It was like Elsa in the ice and snow waved her hand and sprinkled ice flowers on the ground.

No two snowflakes are alike, and no two frost flowers are alike. They all look absolutely wonderful and have an almost mesmerizing effect on us. It's like never seeing snow form before!

A Willy Wonka Tree

This has got to be the coolest tree ever. It bears fruit from the trunk rather than from the branches. This is a really cool tree and a complete conversation piece. The jabuticaba tree is native to South America and produces red giant-like berries with white, juicy, sweet pulp inside. It is a tree that keeps on giving because everyone can pick a piece of fruit from its trunk.

No climbing required to get supplies from this fruit tree. It's a tree in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and everything is edible. The best tree nature has ever produced.

This is a rainbow fish, not a clownfish

This is not a clownfish from Finding Nemo; this is a Surge Wrasse, or as we, the common folk, call it, a rainbow fish. It's an odd name for such a beautiful fish, but they get their names from the places they live, such as areas with lots of water. Mostly found near coral reefs and rocky coastlines, like this guy was caught on a rocky coastline in Hawaii. You don't even need to catch them; they come ashore from the swell.

is too pretty for us to fry, but people do.

You don't even need to catch them; they come ashore from the swell.

is too pretty for us to fry, but people do.They will bite, so be careful if you catch one. Because they are so pleasing to the eye, many people keep them in their home aquariums.

Self-Sprouting Tomatoes

The tomato sprout itself is more common than you think. Viviparous is when the seeds germinate and begin to germinate before leaving the parent plant, or in this case the tomato. This cool tomato has sprouted new tomato seedlings. You will encounter a tomato like this at least once in your life and it is worth looking forward to. Seeing a natural anomaly firsthand should be on your bucket list.

Even cooler is you can go ahead and plant the sprouted tomatoes in a large pot or garden, and all the waiting is over; that tomato has done the hard work for you.

Raspberry Banana Fruit

is not your everyday banana, but heck, it should be. A red banana that’s sweet and smooth with a hint of raspberry – it’s too good to be true. round cloud sky

It is not every day that you can see the clouds on your chest floating in the sky. These are mammalian clouds that appear rarely and only after severe storms. Now we all know why they are named breast clouds, but some might say they look like jellyfish floating around. These were seen in Nebraska after a tornado passed through. We would rather miss the opportunity than survive a tornado.

They look cool; it's just that the cost of having to see them in real life isn't what we want. Either way, they exist, they look cool, and we'll pass on the first-hand experience.

ominous iceland landscape

A scene from a scary sci-fi movie about astronauts landing on a strange planet and the harsh gas conditions make it impossible for them to survive, but they do until a rescue mission is sent . No. It's not that at all, but the ominous landscape of northern Iceland, with its northern lights and fumaroles, the vents of Iceland's active volcanoes. A highly active geothermal area with many unusual attractions like this one.

These openings in the Earth's surface release gases such as sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide . Hverir is the area with the most geothermal activity in Iceland, making the country look like an alien planet any day of the week.

Extra large Strawberry

Talk about a strawberry the size of a hand! You have to see it to believe it. Well, here you go – a strawberry the size of an apple. For all garden lovers out there, the seeds of this strawberry or any other oversized fruit you come across are worth saving. Whether it's a freak accident of nature or the hard work of humans, this strawberry is too cool not to take a photo of. Wondering who is the lucky person who eats it.

This is definitely a valuable snack fruit and a very good fruit. If all strawberries were this size, they would be the best super super food and everyone would be walking around with strawberries instead of apples.

Frog rain is a thing

This is not an possum

At first glance, this looks like a cute little possum that turned into a homebody, but in reality, it's an albino raccoon that turned into a roommate. Many times, we expect things to look a certain way - like what would a leopard look like without its spots? It's hard to see an animal other than what we think of them in our minds, so this white raccoon doesn't look like a raccoon.

Now that nose should be a dead giveaway, this is such an adorable raccoon, but those beady red eyes will put you off. He looks more like the cartoon character Bubba, than anything else.

bullseye

The wonders of nature never cease to amaze, and this butterfly is speaking to us all. She would either tell us that 89 was our lucky number, or that 89 would be next in bingo. In fact, this butterfly species, Diaethria phlogea, is commonly known as the 89'98 butterfly and is found in Colombia, South America.

This butterfly gives us a huge grunge punk vibe and we love it.
