"I picked up a beautiful egret , come and have a look!" On the afternoon of October 6, police officers from Shuitou Police Station of Nan'an Public Security Bureau received a special police incident.
It turned out that Mr. Wang from Zengzhuang Village, Shuitou Town, Nan'an saw a lonely black long pointed bird in the stone factory where he worked. His feathers were white all over and very beautiful, as if he was a wild animal egret. But it drooped its head and its wings, looking not very energetic and had no intention of flying away. Afraid of being injured outside, the enthusiastic Mr. Wang took it into the office and thoughtfully prepared food and water for it. Mr. Wang, who was inexperienced, was worried that Bai Er would be injured and was afraid that he would find it difficult to take good care of him, so he thought of calling the police for help.
After the police arrived at the scene, they initially checked the status of the egret. They saw that there was no external injuries and could walk normally. They were just frightened and a little nervous. In order to better take care of Bai Er, the police brought him a cardboard box and took him back to the police station for temporary care.
The police immediately called the Nan'an Forestry Bureau for consultation. Professionals told the police that the egret may have fallen here because of the hot weather and exhaustion. After resting, it can fly normally. Just release it in the wetland. In order to help the egret recover as soon as possible, the police took good care of it.
After recuperating for a while, the egret has recovered its spirit, has a good physical appearance, and has the conditions for releasing animals in the wild. Under the professional guidance of the Forestry Bureau, the police came to Wuliqiao Park in the jurisdiction to release the egret back to nature.
