Fujian Daily -New Fujian Client September 21 (Huang Zhongquan and Liao Jinpeng) On September 18, a bird friend found a suspected new willow warbler on a valley shrub in Luofang Township, Yong'an City. After consulting senior bird researchers, it was confirmed that it was double-spotted green willow warbler , which is the first new bird welcoming in Yong'an City during the autumn migration of birds in 2022. On the morning of that day, the bird mixed in a group of bird waves composed of yellow-cheeked tits, white-bellied phoenix tits, brown-faced tits, brown-faced tits, brown-faced tits, , etc. They forage along the trees and shrubs on the roadside. Among them, the willow tits were recorded when moving on the low shrubs, becoming a new record of bird species in Yong'an City, Sanming City.

Double-spotted green willow warbler: body length is 11~12 cm, feathers are dark green, with obvious white long eyebrows without top patterns, legs are dark, with two wing spots, lower body and green waist. The mouth is long and the base of the lower mouth is pink. The sound is loud but relatively dry. It breeds in the mixed forest of needle deciduous leaves, birch and poplar clusters, and can reach an altitude of 4,000 meters. Overwintering in secondary shrubs and bamboo forests, it reaches an altitude of 1,000 meters. I like to eat harmful insects such as bugs, cicadas, fly and mosquitoes. They play an important role in controlling pests and sometimes eat weed seeds and plant seeds. During migration, their distribution was almost across the country.
