It is well known that
many mosquitoes were originally distributed in Southeast Asian countries and were introduced to my country through overseas trade. They are mainly active in Guangdong, Guangxi and Yunnan.
It is not difficult to find that this summer, mosquitoes do not seem to be as active as in previous years. The more they scratch the mosquito bags, the more itchy they are, and the annoying buzzing sound appears less frequently than in previous years. The mosquito coils and toilet water prepared early seem to have a lot less use. Some people can't help but wonder: Could it be that...even mosquitoes will be killed by the heat?
Actually, it’s not the mosquitoes that are dying of heat, but the mosquitoes’ children!
The reproduction of mosquitoes also depends on the right time and place. This year's high temperature has caused many ponds and ditches to dry up, and mosquitoes have lost their holy places to lay eggs. Even if some mosquitoes successfully "survive", environmental problems will cause the mosquitoes to become smaller and less able to reproduce.
Although there are fewer mosquitoes, there are always disadvantages. This is more conducive to the speed at which mosquitoes spread viruses after high temperatures. In autumn, it may be easier to contract terrible viruses! So it’s not too early to celebrate the so-called mosquito extinction.
There are three types of mosquitoes that transmit diseases in the world: Culex , Aedes , and Anopheles mosquitoes. The main ones that spread are malaria , dengue fever and filariasis .
You still need to protect yourself from mosquito bites when you are outside. Summer is the time to protect yourself from mosquitoes and heat.
