Recently, I met two friends who came to see me for treatment because their cats at home had ringworm on their skin, and the number was getting bigger and bigger.
In fact, when they come to see a doctor, they still have some common sense. They know that if they have cats at home, they may have skin diseases transmitted by small animals, but what specific diseases are they? How to treat? Not sure yet. From the naked eye, one of them is on the face and the other is on the arm (as shown in the picture above). One said that the cat liked to rub its face against the cat, and the other said that it had not appeared on the arms before, but it appeared on the arms after bathing the new cat frequently (as shown in the picture above). Generally, experienced doctors know the history of contact with animals, and look at the appearance of skin lesions to know that they have ringworm, which is transmitted to humans. But if you have the conditions, you can do a fungal microscopy, and you can find hyphae as evidence on the skin.
The treatment is to apply topical antifungal creams such as naftifine and ketoconazole directly and it will disappear in half a month. When applying, the range that can be applied should be slightly larger. Apply at least one to two centimeters beyond the lesion for a week to consolidate the treatment.
After treatment, do not come into contact with cats that have catnip. Especially if you come into contact with cats in areas with relatively tender skin, you are more likely to get it again.
