Focus on the front: Starting from January 17, 2023, passengers on domestic flights must present a paper copy of a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours! Paper version! Paper version!
Airlines will check passengers when they board the plane. If they don’t bring it with them, they will not be allowed on the plane!
I believe that many friends in Japan have been waiting hard just to be able to return to China smoothly this time and spend the Chinese New Year with family and friends. Nowadays, the country has greatly relaxed its entry policy, opening its doors to everyone and welcoming everyone home. However, the immigration policy may change at any time, so you still need to pay careful attention!
Last night, the Chinese Embassy in Japan issued requirements for paper copies of nucleic acid negative certificates.
Next, the editor will explain in detail the latest document from the embassy. I also hope that friends in Japan who are preparing to return to their countries will always pay attention to the latest information from the embassy (official website)!
Key point 1: do nucleic acid, within 48 hours, paper version
Currently, there are many nucleic acid testing methods in Japan. Please do not use the kind of antigen reagents purchased in pharmacies and tested at home. Instead, look for PCR checkpoints near your area for nucleic acid testing.
You can directly search "PCR検CHEセンター" on Google map, carefully confirm its business hours, look at the detailed introduction or comment area, estimate the time for the report, and be sure to accurately grasp the "48 hours" time (regarding this 48 hours, please do not take chances, even if it is 48.1 hours, you may not be able to get on the plane). If you are still unsure, please call the checkpoint directly and confirm again. After the
nucleic acid report results come out, if it is an electronic version, it must be printed out. The paper version will do! A paper version will do! A paper version will do!
This new regulation does not require a specific format for the nucleic acid test report, but some information is required. Please check carefully ↓ (Excerpted from the official website of the embassy)
① The name of the person being tested (should be consistent with the name on the travel document used for the flight to China), and it is best to indicate the date of birth and travel document number.
② contains the following monitoring information: test time or report issuance time (at least one time is within 48 hours before boarding), test method (should be nucleic acid test, antigen test is not accepted), test result (should be "negative", "uncertain" and "grey zone" results are not accepted), name and contact information of the testing agency.
③ Use the official language of the place where the flight to China takes off or English, and it will be checked by the airline operating the flight to China.
④ is a paper report. If the testing agency issues an electronic report, please print it and bring it with you.
Key point 2: Don’t forget to declare at customs
After obtaining the negative nucleic acid report, fill in the "People's Republic of China Entry/Exit Health Declaration Card" through the WeChat applet (pictured above), the mobile customs APP or the web version at https://htdecl.chinaport.gov.cn to declare.
The web version and the WeChat applet version are shown in the picture above. Please be careful not to enter the wrong one~
In addition, Japanese media reported that China will liberalize official and partial business visas for Japan. The specific issuance standards need to be confirmed by the embassy.
Although the news comes a little suddenly (I don’t know if any of you are returning to China on the 17th), as long as you carefully check the necessary information and follow the procedures, I believe everyone can return to China smoothly!
