The Minister of Finance and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group are concurrently served by Liu Kun (1956.12), who was formerly a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Director of the Budget Working Committee, and Deputy Chairman of the Financial and Economic Committee of the National People's Congress. In addition, Liu Kun was elected as a member of the 19th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection last year. In the current leadership team of the Ministry of Finance, Liu Kun presides over the overall work of the Ministry of Finance and is in charge of the Taxation Department, Budget Department, National Defense Department, and Personnel and Education Department.
Zhu Guangyao (1953.7) still serves as the Vice Minister of Finance and a member of the Party Leadership Group. He is currently in charge of the Customs Department, the International Economic Relations Department, the International Financial Cooperation Department, the China Clean Development Mechanism Fund Management Center (Government and Social Capital Cooperation Center), and the International Finance and Economics Center. He is specifically responsible for the China-US Comprehensive Economic Dialogue and the financial channel preparatory mechanism for the G20 Summit.
Zhao Huiling (1956.12), member of the 19th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, still serves as the leader of the Discipline Inspection Team of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection in the Ministry of Finance, a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Finance, and is in charge of the Discipline Inspection Team of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection in the Ministry of Finance.
Cheng Lihua (female, 1965.4), an alternate member of the 19th CPC Central Committee and former member of the Standing Committee of the Tianjin Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Education Working Committee of the Municipal Committee, served as the Vice Minister of Finance and a member of the Party Leadership Group. He currently assists Liu Kun in charge of the National Defense Department, the Treasury Department (Treasury Payment Center), the Economic Construction Department, the Supervision and Inspection Bureau, the Ministry of Finance’s local financial inspectorate offices, and the Information Network Center.
Hu Jinglin (1964.6) still serves as deputy minister of the Ministry of Finance and a member of the Party Leadership Group. He currently assists Liu Kun in charge of the Department of Personnel and Education, and is in charge of the General Office, Department of Agriculture, Department of Finance, National Agricultural Comprehensive Development Office, Party Committee of Institutions, Bureau of Retired Cadres, Office of the Leading Group for Inspection of the Ministry of Finance, and the China Finance and Taxation Museum.
Yu Weiping (1961.12) still serves as deputy minister of the Ministry of Finance and a member of the Party Leadership Group. He is currently in charge of the Policy Research Office, the Comprehensive Department, the Science and Education Department, the Culture Department ( Central Cultural Enterprise State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Leading Group Office), the Social Security Department, the Chinese Academy of Fiscal Sciences, China Finance Magazine, and China Financial News .
Wang Ercheng (1955.10), member of the 19th Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the National Council for Social Security Fund, served as a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Finance, responsible for the work of the National Council for Social Security Fund.
Xu Hongcai (1963.9) still serves as Assistant Minister of Finance and a member of the Party Leadership Group. He currently assists Liu Kun in charge of the Budget Department, and is in charge of the Legal Affairs Department, the Asset Management Department, the Cadre Education Center (China Accounting Correspondence School), the Agency Service Center, the Budget Review Center, the China Asset Appraisal Association, and China Financial Publishing and Media Group .
According to the "Plan for Deepening the Reform of Party and State Institutions" recently issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Ministry of Finance's management responsibilities for comprehensive agricultural development projects were integrated into the newly established Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; the Ministry of Finance's responsibilities for supervision and inspection of the implementation of the central budget and other fiscal revenue and expenditures were assigned to the Audit Office; the National Social Security Fund Council was adjusted from the management of the State Council to the management of the Ministry of Finance, and the administrative level is no longer clear.
