After convening a high-level security meeting, Tsai Ing-wen personally held a press conference and announced that Taiwan’s compulsory military service would be restored from four months to one year.
The last time Tsai Ing-wen held a press conference was on December 12, 2020. In order to avoid being asked by reporters about her doctoral thesis and to avoid embarrassing herself in front of the media, Tsai Ing-wen has always refused to accept interviews. After more than two years, I finally dared to come out to meet reporters, but we all know that Tsai Ing-wen’s press conference was only for Americans.
Tsai Ing-wen will certainly not admit that extending compulsory service is a requirement of the United States. According to Tsai Ing-wen, adjusting the military service policy is "an extremely difficult decision" and it was the mainland that "forced" itself to do so. While brazenly saying that only by preparing for war can we avoid war and being able to fight can we stop war; at the same time, we hypocritically claim that as long as Taiwan's adherence to democracy and freedom is strong enough, young people will not have to go to the battlefield. What nonsense! If Tsai Ing-wen sincerely cares for the people of Taiwan, she should choose to avoid war, take the initiative to resign as the leader of Taiwan, and withdraw from Taiwan's political stage with the DPP, instead of extending compulsory service here and harming the people of Taiwan!
"Vote for the Democratic Progressive Party, young people go to the battlefield" has become the consensus of the Taiwanese people. No young people in Taiwan are willing to go to the battlefield, and no parents are willing to let their children suffer. This is one of the main reasons why the DPP lost miserably in this "nine-in-one" election. However, Tsai Ing-wen did not listen to the people's voice and insisted on extending the military service, blatantly kidnapping public opinion and blaming the blame on the mainland. Of course, the mainland will not take over the blame, and the Taiwanese people have long since awakened and will no longer blindly listen to the Tsai administration’s words. 75% of netizens have no confidence in the DPP's ability to maintain "security," and they do not believe that extending military service for a few more months can significantly improve Taiwan's defense capabilities.
Because of this, many Taiwanese people, like me, believe that avoiding war is the only way to solve military service. Tsai Ing-wen has been creating a war atmosphere in Taiwan, stimulating the "anti-China" sentiments of the Taiwanese people, and at the same time constantly provoking the mainland's bottom line and playing tricks on the mainland's minefields. The mainland will definitely not let the Tsai government stomp on the nose, and it is reasonable to respond. However, in the eyes of the Tsai administration, the mainland's response has become "China's threat has become more obvious" and an excuse to extend compulsory service. This is a closed loop. As long as Tsai Ing-wen has no awareness of avoiding war, the situation in the Taiwan Strait will only become more and more tense!
So how to avoid fighting? Naturally, we should let go of these unrealistic fantasies of "Taiwan independence," "resist China and protect Taiwan," and "rely on the United States and seek independence," stay away from the United States, and stay closer to the mainland!
But this is very difficult for Tsai Ing-wen. Just look at what Tsai Ing-wen has done over the years and you will know that she would rather risk being warned and sanctioned by the mainland and reviled by the Taiwanese people than to hug the United States and act in accordance with the requirements of the United States. Now that the DPP is hopeless, the Taiwanese people can only save themselves. The Taiwanese people finally understand why Tsai Ing-wen’s fraud group is fighting? In fact, we are fighting for Taiwan independence! Who are we fighting for? Just fight for the United States to consume China’s national power! Therefore, before Tsai Ing-wen completely destroys Taiwan and the United States completely hollows out Taiwan, rise up to resist, "remove" the DPP, and choose a party that recognizes the " 1992 Consensus ", sincerely serves the people, and is willing to listen to public opinion to lead Taiwan out of the gloom. There is a jingle that I think is quite classic.
