As early as the 1950s, some lines operated by Beijing Public Transport Group had already penetrated into the outer suburbs and counties and continue to this day. Since 1993, some long-distance bus lines to outer suburban counties have been gradually operated as public transportation and included in the 9-prefix road number. In the 21st century, various suburban areas have successively established district-owned bus and passenger transport enterprises to undertake regional bus services.
Today is the 293rd program of "Everyone Talks about Congestion Control". We have invited Zhang Yushi, senior business manager of the Route Network Center of Beijing Public Transport Group, Zhang Rui, deputy manager of the 7th Passenger Transport Branch of Beijing Public Transport Group, and Chang Jingsheng, driver of the 11th fleet, to introduce the relevant work situation.
Welcome to continue to pay attention to every Wednesday morning at 7:30-9:30 Beijing Traffic Broadcasting " Smooth All the Way " "Everyone Talks about Congestion Control" special program, let's make suggestions for comprehensive traffic management in Beijing!
Bus Group: Optimizing the suburban bus line network
There are 744 lines passing through the suburbs
Currently, the bus group operates a total of 1,291 regular bus lines, of which 744 lines pass through the suburbs. lines, accounting for 58% of all lines; the bus group is responsible for the operation of regional bus lines in five suburbs including Mentougou, Yanqing, Huairou, Fangshan, and Tongzhou. The five suburbs have entrusted the operation of 321 bus lines, accounting for 25% of all lines. Most of the lines that travel across administrative regions, including lines to the central city and suburbs, use three-digit road numbers, such as 915 and 916. Most of the lines running in suburban areas start with a letter. For example, the lines in Huairou District start with H, and the lines Fangshan District start with F.
The entrusted operation lines in each suburb cover the main roads and highways in the suburbs and reach all towns and administrative villages. In Shidongzi Village, Huairou District, in the northernmost part of Beijing, there is Road H15; in Xiaolongmen Forest Farm, Mentougou District, and Yudouquan, Fangshan District, in the westernmost part of Beijing, there are Road M10 and Road F19. Some routes pass through beautiful roads, such as Road Y12, Road Y13, and Road Y32 passing through Yanqing Baili Landscape Gallery, Road F25 passing through Fangshan 108 National Highway, Road F21 at Jiajin Road, Road F19 at Laibao Road, Road H16 at Diaogoumen in Huairou, etc. While solving the problem of passenger travel, some bus lines also integrate into the local scenery.
Focus on terminal villages, newly built areas and cross-district lines
Optimize and improve business hours
In recent years, the bus group has opened and adjusted more than 30 lines in terminal villages in the suburbs. The terminal villages are connected to the township center or adjacent passenger terminals and passenger flow distribution points to serve the basic travel of remote villagers. The F45 Road, Y38 Road, M31 Road, M34 Road and other lines that have been adjusted and extended this year have provided convenience for villagers at the far end of the route and ended their long-term lack of public transportation. The newly opened F50 Road, H84 Road, adjusted F28 Road, H6 Road, etc. have solved the travel needs of residents around newly built communities, industrial bases and railway stations. In addition, good results have been achieved by opening some cross-regional lines between suburbs, such as the 934 line from Daxing Huangcun to Fangshan Liangxiang, and the 903 line connecting Fangshan, Fengtai , and Mentougou.
continues to optimize and improve the business hours of suburban lines, striving to match service supply with actual passenger needs. This year, for some suburban terminal lines such as M30 and H75 that start at fixed points, we will optimize the line departure time based on the travel needs of passengers. Many lines in suburban built-up areas have extended their business hours. For example, this year, Tongzhou District 17 lines have extended their business hours to benchmark urban bus services to facilitate passengers traveling along the lines.
Huairou: Suburban bus lines promote regional development
284 administrative villages are connected to buses
At present, the bus lines entrusted to operate in the Huairou area are mainly responsible for the seventh branch of the Passenger Transport Group of the Public Transport Group. There are a total of 82 entrusted lines in Huairou area, with a length of 2749.91 kilometers, an increase of 45 lines and a length of 1186.71 kilometers compared with the initial period. The goal of " connecting every village with " has been achieved in 284 administrative villages.
Over the past ten years, Huairou Public Transport has continuously increased investment in vehicles, route settings, network length and operating mileage, etc., which has continuously enhanced its effective supply capacity, effectively alleviated urban traffic congestion, and ensured the travel needs of suburban citizens. For example, with the opening of the new hospital in Huairou District, routes H55, H56, H63, H64, H69 and other routes have been opened. With the launch of Huairou Science City , roads H59 and H79 have been opened successively. The opening of Route H84 has facilitated the ground bus connection at Huairou South Station of the Beijing-Harbin High-Speed Railway. The opening of bus lines has also promoted the development of tourism in Huairou, such as Hongluosi Temple (H57, H78 Road), Yanqi Lake (H11, H18, H30 Road, etc.), Huanghuacheng Water Great Wall (H21 Road), etc., which not only facilitate the daily travel of villagers along the way, but also meet the travel needs of tourists from all walks of life.
Old bus driver: bear safety responsibility
Be responsible for one bus of passengers
Chang Jingsheng, the driver of the 11th fleet of the 7th Passenger Transport Branch of the Public Transport Group, joined the Public Transport Group in 2004. At the end of 2008, with the opening of H12, H13 and H25 lines, Master Chang started working on these lines. This is the most dangerous and difficult route among the operating routes in Huairou Mountain. The road is narrow, with many bends, beams, and station guards. There are many tourists on holidays, including self-driving cars, motorcycles, and bicycles. Master Chang said frankly, "Although I have been driving in the mountains for so many years, I have kept in mind the twists and turns on the road, but I never dare to slack off at all. Holding the steering wheel in my hand, I bear the responsibility for safety, and I am even more responsible for the passengers in the car." As a veteran bus driver who has witnessed the development of public transportation, Master Chang feels that everything in Beijing Public Transport is developing towards high technology. The operating vehicles are gradually updated to clean energy and pure electric models. The dispatching work has changed from manual to intelligent. Signing in, reporting for repairs, and checking the schedule can be completed on the mobile phone, and the labor intensity of front-line drivers has been greatly reduced. After working at
for so many years, there are two things that Master Chang cannot forget. On the afternoon of December 31, 2018, Master Chang drove back from the mountain and went down to Qiuchang. A passenger in the car suddenly suffered a heart attack and was in critical condition. In the emergency, he immediately reported to the team and contacted the 120 center to obtain the car. Other passengers on board agreed to stop as little as possible along the way, drive in the opposite direction to the ambulance, and meet up with 120 medical staff at the Shentangyu intersection in the shortest possible time. The medical staff performed first aid on the patient, and the patient was saved. Master Chang secured the best rescue time for the patient. On the line operated by Master Chang, Li Jianbing, a villager from Ertaizi Village, suffered paralysis of his lower limbs due to an accident. He often needed his old father to accompany him on the bus to the county town for rehabilitation treatment. Since then, carrying Li Jianbing to and from the bus has become part of Master Chang's job. Under his leadership, other crew members also joined the team to help Li Jianbing travel, until now. Master Chang said: "I want to continue to show the style of the capital's public transportation people in the new era in this ten-meter carriage."
