Judge Zhang Yonghui of the Taipei District Court said that during the recent court session of the Taipei District Court, Tsai Ing-wen’s lawyer produced Tsai Ing-wen’s 1983 “doctoral thesis manuscript” for investigation. After inspecting the “original manuscript” of the thesis, they concluded that this “original manuscript” was written starting in 1982. "Doctoral thesis" is old and damaged, and is of "bulk type", which does not conform to the format of a formal thesis that should be in a volume, but it does belong to the "original thesis". Although Tsai Ing-wen failed to produce a qualified final "doctoral thesis" to eliminate the controversy, she was indeed awarded a doctorate.

Zhang Yonghui also said that even the London School of Economics and Political Science, where Tsai Ing-wen graduated, and the library of the school do not collect Tsai Ing-wen's doctoral thesis, but this is a problem of library preservation. It cannot be used to infer whether Tsai Ing-wen has a final "doctoral thesis", nor can this responsibility be attributed to Tsai Ing-wen herself.
So what about the Taipei City District Court’s ruling? I have to say, naked favoritism. It is obvious that this is attributing the fact that Tsai Ing-wen’s “doctoral thesis” was not collected to the London School of Economics. At the same time, the “original thesis” does not mean the “final draft of the thesis.” This "original thesis" publicly displayed by Tsai Ing-wen can only show that Tsai Ing-wen himself wrote a "doctoral thesis", but it does not prove that she finally completed the thesis. This is the problem.
In fact, it is not surprising that the case surrounding Tsai Ing-wen's "doctoral thesis" finally had such an outcome. After all, Tsai Ing-wen herself dominates the island of Taiwan and has all kinds of power. How could she allow the Taipei District Court to make a trial result that is not favorable to her?
In the end, the Taipei City District Court rejected Peng Wenzheng's request to confirm Tsai Ing-wen's "doctoral thesis". When the Taipei District Court announced the verdict, Peng Wenzheng, who had been pursuing Tsai Ing-wen's "doctoral thesis", was very dissatisfied. Peng Wenzheng's lawyer Zhang Jing shouted angrily and gave the reasons for the verdict. What’s even more interesting is that before the verdict was announced in the court, some people were holding slogans, and some people were wearing doctor’s uniforms to hear the verdict. Judge Zhang Yonghui immediately stopped the behavior of holding slogans in the court. It is estimated that these people had probably guessed the result before Zhang Yonghui announced the verdict.

After the verdict was announced by the Taipei District Court, Peng Wenzheng immediately posted on social media that the verdict was the fifth greatest treasure in the world. He personally expressed his admiration for the stubbornness of the judges and the president of the Taipei District Court to choose evil, and he also hoped that since they can "turn their noses at thousands of people with cold eyebrows" today, they can "bow down and be willing to be like a bull" in the detention center after May 20, 2024.
Peng Wenzheng also mocked Zhang Yonghui and said that there are four major treasures in the world - the "Dead Sea Scrolls", the "Golden Ark of the Covenant", the "Treasure of King Solomon" and the "Tsai Ing-wen Papers". A major discovery was made on December 23, 2022. It only took Judge Zhang Yonghui three years to "find" the "Tsai Ing-wen Papers" which had been lost for 39 years. His judgments are truly unique in the world.

In fact, Tsai Ing-wen’s “doctoral thesis” has always been a hot topic on the island. On November 29th and 30th, it even went to the Taipei City Court.So does Tsai Ing-wen herself have a "doctoral thesis"? Previously, a professor on the island raised his own doubts: In those days, if it was an excellent graduation thesis, everyone would rush to publish it. However, Tsai Ing-wen always claimed that she was "an excellent foreign doctor". Moreover, she had a big business and had no difficulty in publishing the thesis. Why was she unable to produce the final draft of her "doctoral thesis" in the end?
