The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (3,953 cases), Taichung City (2,585 cases), Taoyuan City (2,181 cases), Kaohsiung City (2,116 cases), Taipei City (2,088 cases), Tainan City (1,602 cases), Changhua County ( 953 cases), Hsinchu County (710 cases), Hsinchu City (630 cases), Miaoli County (470 cases), Pingtung County (399 cases), Yunlin County (374 cases), Chiayi County (287 cases), Nantou County (286 cases), Yilan County (2 73 cases), Keelung City (239 cases), Chiayi City (186 cases), Hualien County (183 cases), Kinmen County (113 cases), Taitung County (106 cases), Penghu County (59 cases), Matsu (5 cases). The
command center pointed out that there were 41 new deaths from local cases today, including 23 males and 18 females, ranging in age from their teens to their 90s. They were all severely infected, 39 had a history of chronic disease, and 26 had not received more than 3 doses of the new coronavirus vaccine. The date of diagnosis ranged from June 21 to December 19, and the date of death ranged from June 25 to December 19. The
command center stated that among the 93 newly imported cases today, 50 were male and 43 were female. Their ages ranged from under 5 to over 70 years old, and their entry dates ranged from November 21 to December 21 this year.
According to statistics, a total of 8,644,555 people have been diagnosed on the island so far, and 14,999 people have died of the epidemic.
