He first wrote in the article: The case regarding Tsai Ing-wen’s thesis has begun in court today. The defendant’s lawyer presented the so-called original thesis to prove that Tsai Ing-wen did indeed write the thesis and submitted it to the school. She passed the exam with this paper and obtained a formal doctorate. I thought this would be the best evidence to prove Tsai Ing-wen’s innocence. Unexpectedly, the "original" they produced turned out to be the first draft that was publicly displayed in Tsai Ing-wen's office in 2019 - page by page in bulk, unbound, and without consecutive page numbers. It was even full of text that Li Kebai had altered, and the "first draft" had more than 400 typos.
Then in the following article, the retired professor used the "first draft" to analyze the incident of Tsai Ing-wen's thesis. He wrote: I still remember that when I wrote the thesis, the "first draft" was still written by hand. I completed hundreds of 600-word manuscript papers and had to be photocopied and bound before I dared to send it to the department. After passing the oral exam, you must revise and correct the errors pointed out by the oral exam committee members before you come back and then ask someone to type and print.

In fact, the "first draft" can only prove that Tsai Ing-wen "ever" wrote a thesis, because the general process of obtaining a doctorate (or even a master's degree) must have the following stages: 1. The first draft is completed; 2. . Compile the table of contents, page numbers, and bind it into a volume; 3. Submit to the department for review; 4. Find oral examination committee members; 5. Arrange the oral test date; 6. Oral test; 7. Review whether it passes or not, and provide revision suggestions; 8. Get back revisions; 9. Rebind, including cover, inner pages, table of contents, page numbers, etc.; 10. Send to the department; 11. Obtain a doctorate degree. These 11 procedures must be completed. The "first draft" proposed by Tsai Ing-wen's lawyer has not even completed the second step. Is there any student in the world who submits a paper in loose pages?
If we analyze these processes, it is obvious that Tsai Ing-wen is deliberately creating an image for the outside world that "she has written a doctoral thesis", but the specific results are unknown.
