On the afternoon of November 20, Luodong Town held a project promotion meeting for the Northern New Town Daokou Area (Luodong Area). The leadership group of the Central Township Planning and Construction Management Headquarters of Luodong Town and other relevant members attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Chen Xiucong, Chairman of the Town People’s Congress.
Secretary Chen Guanming conveyed the spirit of the first meeting of Nan'an Municipal Urban Construction Committee and made an emphatic speech:
First, we must raise our standing. The renovation of the Daokou area of the northern Nan'an New Town is a good opportunity for the development of Luodong. Everyone should seize the opportunity, take the initiative, keep the overall situation in mind, take the initiative to take responsibility, take the lead, and make contributions to provide better support for the development of the northern Nan'an New Town.
The second is to speed up the progress. The situation is gratifying and exciting, and time waits for no one. We must speed up our work with a sense of urgency. We must speed up the progress of projects under construction and the relocation of confirmed projects to ensure that the projects can be promoted smoothly, well and quickly.
The third is to proactively connect. It is necessary to actively connect the city's development ideas with the city's important nodes and district master plans, actively connect projects, funds, and initiatives, and think of more ways, ideas, and solutions to problems.
The fourth is to optimize the combination. The town party committee has optimized the personnel of the central town planning and construction headquarters. It is hoped that everyone will work together, complement each other, support each other, think in one place, work hard in one place, and contribute to the construction of Luodong into a "strong cultural, educational and health town, and a livable small city" in northern Nan'an.
Mayor Wu Bangran emphasized the need to plan and improve on the basis of existing projects and take the transformation of Daokou area as an opportunity to improve the level of small city pilot cultivation in Luodong Town.
Deputy Mayor Lin Xiaotao introduced the renovation of the Daokou area. The Daokou area starts from the Meishan exit of Jinxian Expressway and extends along both sides of Luodong Avenue and Luoxi City. It covers a total area of about 3,600 acres, involving 3 projects that have been built (under construction) and nearly 15 new planned projects.
